We’re currently recruiting a new Innovation Manager to join Ideal Standard’s Fittings Business Unit.

Belgium based candidates should be willing to travel to Wittlich, Germany twice a month. German based candidates should be willing to travel to Zaventem, Belgium twice a month. You will be also travelling to potential partners and to our plant in Bulgaria.


Accelerate growth.

Delivering fast growth and developing innovative new design-, tech- and go-to-market strategies for the fittings segment (e.g. faucets, showers and adjacent water products/services)


Lead the innovation process.

Manage the innovation process, take the lead in all innovation activities for the Fittings Business Unit from idea to the stage gate process (or beyond for highly innovative solutions).


Drive decisions fast.

Collaborate with relevant departments and partners to drive decisions fast even under high uncertainty and reach growth targets.


Identify, design and validate.

• Identify new, high potential business opportunities in every area, from new products to disruptive business models.

• Manage the portfolio of ideas as an investment portfolio, balancing the output for horizon 1, 2 & 3 projects.

• Leverage customer data to create new business, new product features and new value.

• Lead design thinking workshops, and co-creation sessions with various B2B & B2C customer segments.

• Build the innovation ecosystem needed to accelerate the development of new products and services.


Build and test MVPs across markets.

• Develop and lead meetings to facilitate ideation, MVP development and the decision making process for industrialization.

• Demonstrate the feasibility of new concepts using early validation, prototypes and testing your assumptions (e.g. viability, desirability, feasibility).


From innovation strategy into concrete initiatives.

• Define the innovation strategy based on market & macro insights/analysis/trends

• Identify the issues, problems and bottlenecks that need to be solved based on the innovation strategy.

• Formulate innovation challenges for different teams and departments that will help move your strategy forward.

• Use business and investment case modelling to justify investments related to your innovation strategy (e.g. go-to-market approach, key processes, new offerings, etc.).


Drive innovation leadership.

• Use business and investment case modelling to justify investments related to your innovation strategy (e.g. go-to-market approach, key processes, new offerings, etc.).

• Continuously update and communicate the innovation strategy to all relevant departments and stakeholders.

• Actively contribute to the innovation culture and involve relevant stakeholders through good communication (e.g. management team, supporting services, customers and partners).

• Continuously improve the company’s innovation skills.
