Key experiment criteria
Data fidelity is, of course, necessary but can take time, which you may not have. It doesn’t have to be a trade-off– there are many experiments that offer both.
Each experiment is suitable for validating one or more of the following: desirability, feasibility, viability, and responsibility.
An experiment may provide valid results in one stage but not another. These stages are highlighted for each: market, problem, solution, commercial.
Whilst many can be done for free, some will require investment to gain the right data. Each experiment has an average cost attached to it.
The experiments will either give you qualitative or quantitative data to drive the insights needed to adapt, pivot or kill the idea.
