Telenet—one of Belgium’s biggest entertainment and telecommunications providers—aims to occupy a solid market position in the many upcoming entertainment verticals.

In 2017 they challenged Bundl to co-create a unique proposal for their future of entertainment.

With The Park, Telenet is able to accelerate growth in a new market, while building towards a clear long-term proposition that aligns with the company’s values and vision.

Together with a small Telenet team, we spent about 2 months in ideation, fine-tuning the concept, validation and building a strong business case to convince the Telenet management team to move forward with pre-seed funding.

Build.

We hacked the MVP phase by visiting early stage startups in the industry—gathering insights into hardware, technology, venue setup, business cases, and user input.

That left us to build the key features and USP that would differentiate The Park in the market.

Launch.

Finding the right partnerships was essential for the quick and successful launch of The Park. Together with Bump, Wappla, Woestijnvis and The Mill, we created an unforgettable phygital game experience, developed a story and supporting software, and gathered the ideal hardware. In-house, we built a brand identity, found a great venue, and hired the right team and leadership to lead this venture towards the future.

Grow.

The overwhelming success of The Park Playground allowed it to reach profitability after only 6 months, under the leadership of CEO Philippe De Schutter. But this didn’t mean our job was done. Bundl provided support in the further growth of the team and through regular coaching sessions with the management of The Park, focused on improving the brand experience and developing a scaleup strategy.
